White Station High School's new Ninth Grade Academy serves 250 freshman in a newly restructured learning environment that uses WAVE principles, program approaches, and curriculum. Students also participate in an active Leadership Association.
WAVE provides training and consultation to school administrators and teaching staff on program design, curriculum, and partnerships with the business community.
WAVE works directly with students to help them become more aware of their leadership capabilities through the Leadership Enhancement Training Seminars that are conducted each semester.
The White Station WAVE programming is supported by a grant from the Shering-Plough Corporation.
