WAVE is located on the corner of 6th Street between D and E Streets, S.W., 2.5 blocks from the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.
525 School Street, SW (Suite 500) is in the same building as Cosmo Cleaners and Subway.
If traveling by Metro:
Take the L’Enfant Plaza stop on the yellow, blue, orange or green lines and exit by the Department of Transportation (DOT) exit at 7th and D Streets, SW. You will come out in the DOL plaza where you will see a large fountain. Walk left through the plaza and onto 6th Street. 525 School Street is right in front of you.
If traveling from Virginia:
Take the 14th St. bridge and exit at Maine Ave on the Expressway. Go left at the stop sign one block. Then go left on 7th St, for two blocks, then right onto E St, one block to left onto 6th. 525 School is the first building on you right.
or
Take the Roosevelt or Memorial Bridges to Independence Ave. Follow Independence until you reach the Air and Space Museum. Go right on 6th for 2.5 blocks. 525 School is on your left just before the fire station.
If traveling from Maryland:
Take Rt. I 395 south, and exit at 6th Avenue SW exit. Go straight on 6th. Your second right will be School Street (next to the fire station). We are the first building on your left.
Parking:
Metered street parking is available but very limited. There is a MarcPark garage under 501 School Street and several other garages within 2 blocks of our building.
